Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix Revealed
20th February 2005, 6:46pm
Namco have teamed up with Nintendo again to bring you an awesome arcade cabinet that you'll soon see all over the place. Introducing Mario Kart Arcade Grand Prix, the game where you can play Mario Kart with a steering wheel and pedals. Four cabinets can be hooked up together like you'd expect, but I bet you didn't see this coming: You can play as Pacman and Mrs. Pacman. There'll be six worlds of four levels each, and you can get a rewritable card to keep stats and upload characteristics. Situated on the top of the unit is a camera, so you can stick a picture of yourself over your character for other players to see. Depending on your character, your picture will be altered (eg. Mario cap if you choose Mario). It appears you can jump again, you'll have normal karts and coins make a comeback.
Keep an eye out.
