Players must battle their way around the tracks and using the control stick and shoulder buttons, drivers can twist and turn their karts through all the courses on offer. But, a touch of the Z button will cause the characters to swap places and give access to a number of exciting new power-ups available. Spiky shells, huge banana skins and super sized bombs can all be picked up and thrown at rival drivers. This time, nobody is safe!
