Mario Kart Double Dash!! Pre-Order Disc?

According to recent reports circulating around the internet, Americans are set to receive a "bonus disc" when they pre-order Mario Kart Double Dash!! for the Nintendo GameCube. This has not been confirmed by Nintendo of America, nor are there any details on what the disc will offer gamers. One can only imagine there would be game demos of video previews of some sort.
