Melbourne FIFA 2009 World Cup Qualifier

For those attending the eGames Expo in Melbourne on 14th and the 15th November, gamers can compete to win a chance to take part in the FIFA 2009 Interactive World Cup.

Mini-tournaments will be held on Friday 14th November, and 10am Saturday 15th November. Players can win a PSP, EA Sports game packs, and ADIDAS merchandise.

The final local qualifier will take place at 12pm on Sunday 16th November. Singer Brian McFadden will also be there to present the winner.

Potential competitors can register online, or on the day.

Winners of the global competition will win $USD20,000 in prize money, and a brand new KIA "Soul" car. 2nd and 3rd place winners receive $5,000 and $1,000.
