Metal Gear Solid: Rising Announced For Xbox 360

Konami and Atari Australia has announced, as had long been rumoured, that the Metal Gear Solid series will appear on Xbox 360 (though whether it's an exclusive is not confirmed) in the form of Metal Gear Solid: Rising. The game is being developed by series creators Kojima Productions, but we don't know anything about the game, besides the fact that it does not centre around Snake, but (cyborg) Raiden.

“The Metal Gear Solid series is one of the most highly acclaimed video game franchises of all time,” said Martin Schneider, European Marketing Director for Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH. “With the release of Metal Gear Solid: Rising, the Xbox 360 community will now get a chance to enjoy the action and excitement that this popular franchise is famed for.”
