Metroid Prime 2 Announced

Nintendo of America's website announced today the name of the sequel to the smash hit Metroid Prime for Gamecube - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Along with the spooky title, they also released 8 new screenshots, including one of the all new four player death match. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is set to include more third-person elements than its predecessor, as well as updated graphics and the previously mentioned four-player modes.This time around, Samus is hunted by a mysterious entity and a warring race called the Ing, on a doomed planet. As usual, players will upgrade their suits with new visors and equipment as they progress through the game. Expect more details to be revealed at the 2004 E3, and you'll find all the latest updates right here on Gamebiz.
