Microsoft announces Wii compatibility
Xbox 360, Wii

In an unprecedented move, Microsoft today announced that the Xbox 360 will be Wii compatible by christmas.
The announcement has come after recent objections that the current path of the Xbox 360 is leading to a dead end. With Sony's PlayStation 3 Blu-ray creating a highly successful console, and Nintendo Wii's being sold to people of all ages due to its casual nature and approach, the Xbox 360 has been left in the dark... until now.
Here's what Microsoft's head of PR Major Nelson had to say on his website, "We are very excited to announce that the Xbox 360 will soon be able to play such amazing games as Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mad World. Also, we are happy to announce that the new Zelda game in development will be released simultaneously on the Wii and 360 in the holiday season."
We can't wait to hear more about this exciting innovative development in the world of gaming.

Really? I don't see how it's going to work. Like how is the Wiimote going to work with the 360? I'd be interested to see if it works though.

I didn't even realise that april was so soon till I started reading that. At least you got one person.
dave showed me this yesterday - has the time stamp for the article changed?

Gotta put it up early to fool anyone these days.

Nice try David, you did better than me last year anyway (not that this is much more believable).
Haha, I didn't even realise.
I had fun making this one a few years back.
Ah yes, "Sliced Gaming", very clever. It gives me a headache just looking at it, heh. We've totally got to do something like that again, these news articles aren't that exciting in the end.
Looking back, I think I may have caught Master Chief out with my article. Looks like it's a tie David.
