Microsoft Booth Boasts Some of the Hottest Gaming Action Around, Including Highly Anticipated MMORPG Mythica

Game hobbyists making the pilgrimage to the first-ever Gen Con So Cal will undoubtedly be the envy of gamers everywhere. Show attendees will experience a sampling of Microsoft Game Studios’ hottest titles including Mythica, Sudeki and Dungeon Siege®: Legends of Aranna, and will have a chance to win an autographed print from famed fantasy artist Todd Lockwood. Gen Con, traditionally held in the U.S. Midwest, is recognized as the largest convention in the U.S. for science fiction, fantasy, and general game-playing fans. This year will celebrate the first So Cal edition of the event which takes place in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center from December 11-14.

A trio of killer titles will tantalize gamers that visit Microsoft Game Studios’ booth. In Mythica, Windows® gamers become fallen heroes who have ascended to the afterlife, who then must set out across the Norse planes of existence on epic quests to earn their godhood. They will endure heroic trials, answer the prayers of the faithful and eventually gather enough energy and worship to transcend their immortal present to realize a godly future. Sudeki for Xbox® is set in a world ripped apart by deceit, where four heroes — a sultry wizardress, a soaring gunslinger, a powerful swordsman and a dark huntress — rely on gravity-defying combat and astonishing magic to guide them through a twisting path of mystery and betrayal. Dungeon Siege: Legends of Aranna, the recently released expansion pack to the critically acclaimed Windows game Dungeon Siege, unveils an all-new campaign that will challenge players to explore and fight their way through nine spectacular areas, including an expansive new jungle region, as they unravel the rich history and mystery of the world of Aranna.
