Microsoft Goes After Firmware Modders...Again

 Microsoft has continued it's battle over console modifications, with another reported spate of bannings over Xbox Live. Once a Xbox 360 console is banned from Live, it cannot ever connect to the service again. Apparently Microsoft has devised a new method to detect some versions of modified drive firmware, which allows users to play copied games. Users on some underground forums have been reporting that their consoles have just been banned over the last few days.
