Microsoft On-Hand at the PS3 Launch
PS3

Eurogamer has reported that Microsoft turned up to a few of the major PS3 launches parties that dotted the PAL regions, but not with kind messages.
According to the report, Microsoft was at the Virgin Megastore launch in London giving out seats to people in the queue. Sneakily enough, the chairs were printed with the words "Shouldn't have kept you waiting" and a URL. Amusing.
Fellow UK journalists were sent a large quanity of booze, with a message promoting that fact that "there are better ways to spend GBP 146", which is, of course, the price difference between the 360 and the PS3 in the UK. I'm sure no journalist was complaining about that.
Finally, in France, a large boat was seeing with a lovely slogan bear the words "Xbox 360 <3 you". Conveniently enough, it happened to be quite close to a PS3 launch party.
Unlike its comparitively mischevious competitor, Nintendo has barely said a word regarding the PS3 launch.
