Microsoft Shows Off Argo
Hardware, Xbox 360
15th July 2006, 8:04pm

'Project Argo', as Microsoft has been calling it, has been flaunted to record companies of late, with the obvious aim of hyping the system (and presumably an accompanying services, like the iTMS). The gadget looks to have a hard road ahead - assuming for a moment that everything is real - with the Nintendo DS, PSP, and particularly the iPod all doing great business of late. There has also been a suggestion that the system could be called the 'Zune', or be associated with the Xbox brand. Think Xbox Live Anywhere.
It's worth noting that besides the Argo, and those micro-computer things...what were they called...oh yeah, UMPCs, Microsoft has no other handheld plans. No Halo To Go, I'm afraid.
