Mindscape will distribute lavish science fiction fantasy Schizm II in Europe

Imagine the horror of waking in a cryogenic sleeper pod aboard a derelict space station with no memory of who you are or how you got there. Published by Dreamcatcher Games, this is the scenario posed by Schizm II: Chameleon, which will be distributed by Mindscape in February 2004.

To make matters even more chilling, you soon learn that Sarpedon, the desolate planet below, was once a thriving highly advanced world, and that you are being held accountable for its devastation. Your task is explore the world you find yourself in using 'Chameleon' technology which enables you to impersonate members of the feuding tribes. You will discover the history of how this world came to be and your true origins will be revealed.

Schizm II is the highly anticipated sequel to Schizm: Mysterious Journey, which won worldwide acclaim for its hauntingly beautiful landscapes, the depth of its narrative and its fiendish, yet ultimately logical, puzzles. Schizm II: Chameleon presents a very different challenge to the player, but builds upon the fundamental nature of the game to give the player an intriguing and satisfying experience.

Both Schizm games have been created by Terry Dowling, Australia's foremost contemporary science fiction author, who has written eight novels and nearly 70 short stories and won numerous awards within the science fiction community.
