More Guitar Hero Coming
Xbox 360, PS3, Wii

Activision has announced two more additions to its "annualisable" franchise, Guitar Hero. The first, tentatively subtitled Greatest Hits, features 48 master recordings of tracks released in earlier Guitar Hero games, but this time with the full band.
The second is Guitar Hero: Modern Hits, the third instalment in the DS spinoff series, after Decades (which we were just sent - stay tuned for the review!). Obviously this appears to feature newer artists rather than old classics.
There has also been talk of the franchise being 're-staged' later this year with new products, though that's about as specific as it's got. With Guitar Hero: Metallica on its way in the next month or so, do you think that Activision is taking the right approach to their property? Tell us in the comments below.

My first CD was a cassette, and it was a remix of the Tetris theme by (I think) Doctor Spin.
Yeah.
I'm waiting for Guitar Hero: Hanson!
Hanson was my first CD.
........I think this is the first time in my life I am utterly speechless.

I used to be embarrassed but you would be surprised at how many people my age had Hanson as their first CD.
Hanson was my first CD.
Hehe my grown up daughter used to just love them so much that it wasn't funny when she was younger.
These days though,it's the Jonas Brothers that I have to contend with when it comes to my youngest daughter,so I just can't win really.lol
Least Jonas Brothers look like they have a Y chromosome - though....they don't really sound like it.
