New 360 Elite Bundle Packs Halo 3/Fable 2
Xbox 360
20th May 2009, 5:16pm

From May 28, Microsoft will be selling an Xbox 360 Elite bundled with two highly-acclaimed exclusives - Halo 3, and Fable II. The games will come at no additional cost to the original recommended retail price of AUD$549. The Elite is the premium 360 version, featuring 120GB of storage, a wireless controller and headset and an HDMI cable.
If I hadn't already picked up a pro bundle with Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts and Halo Wars for $400 a month or two ago, this bundle would be mighty tempting.
Reader Comments:

Looks like we'll be getting them in on Monday. Not sure if they're street dated, but they could be for sale on the 25th!
Sounds like Xbox Elite sales are down.
MC - how many Elites do you guys push compared to Pro / Arcade?

Elites would make up about 5% of 360 sales, arcades about 25%, pros the other 70%.
Out of the 25% arcades though, about half are people buying replacement consoles and sticking their hard drive on it.
