New Castlevania Judgment Info And Scans - Online Confirmed
Wii

New info about the game has been revealed by Konami, and the good news for fans is that Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi is developing the game, which ties the past to the present with seven generations of the Belmont clan going toe to toe with a heap of characters from throughout the francise's 22 year history.
Anthony Crouts, Vice President of Marketing for Konami Digital Entertainment had this to say: “We wanted to take this addition to the signature Konami franchise in a direction that really sets it apart from the previous Castlevania titles in the series. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk capabilities, along with the iconic characters, make this game the ideal entry point into the fighting game genre. This combination is certain to thrill old and new fans of the franchise.”
Using the Wii's motion sensing capabilities, you'll be able to stab and whip your way through a variety of stages and opponents, with some surrounding objects usable as weapons.
Probably the biggest piece of news is that the game will have an online mode where players will be able to go head-to-head with each other. There will also be bonus content which can be unlocked by connecting the game to a copy of Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on DS. New scans of the game appeared on jeuxfrance.com, and show a bit more of the game in action. They're available to view in this article. The game is set for a Fall 2008 release in America.
