New Gears of War Game Mode & Update

Epic today announced their new update for Gears of War is undergoing certification meaning gamers should expect it within weeks. The free update includes 720P for VGA users playing in 1280x1024, a new game mode, and it will also fix a bundle of glitches that have been annoying gamers since Gears was launched.

Annex, the new game mode for Gears of War, will bedazzle gamers according to Epic. The game mode, possibly a territorial style game, will bring new life to the already exploding action packed Xbox Live experience that is Gears of War.

Most importantly, Epic have announced that the update and new game mode will be free!
