New Kid Icarus: Uprising Media

Appearing at Nintendo World 2011 in Japan today, Masahiro Sakurai was showing off his new game, Kid Icarus: Uprising at a conference. After showing a trailer that was seen at last year's E3, he went on to demo the game, showing both air and ground segments of the game. The air segments feature Pit flying through on-rails levels filled with enemies, showing some fairly dynamic shooter gameplay. The ground segments showed Pit walking through a large open area, using a projectile weapon to take out enemies, as well as executing some melee attacks using the same weapon at close range. The graphics are looking very good, with plenty of detail in both environments and enemies.
