Wii
3rd June 2009, 3:38am

Nintendo's E3 conference has concluded, and one of the newly announced games is a version of New Super Mario Bros. for Wii. It plays similarly to the DS game, but introduces a host of new features. The game has full four player co-op support, with four different characters currently revealed (Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad and Yellow Toad). Players can now pick up and throw each other for some strategic play.
A new power up, the propellor suit was also shown. The suit allows players to launch their character into the air by shaking the Wii Remote, and then drift slowly back down. Player scores are tallied up at the end of each level, with each player receiving a rank. The game will be ready for the holiday season this year in the U.S.
