New update for Xbox 360 users
Xbox 360
1st December 2006, 4:52pm

Microsoft has just delivered a mandatory Dashboard update to all Xbox 360 owners. In case you were wondering, the update includes better support for viewing when using the Xbox 360 VGA adapter to output to a suitable monitor. It also includes improved performance for plug 'n play support for wireless headsets.
Behind the scenes, this may also fix the Xbox Live Video Marketplace loop-hole we talked about yesterday.
The update includes:
- Improved support for HD video output over VGA, including 1080p resolution
- Improved plug and play performance for wired headsets when being used with wireless controllers
- Changes made to recently played games list to improve accuracy
