Gears Mayhem: Over 2 Million Microsoft Points Up For Grabs
Xbox 360

Microsoft are giving away over two million Microsoft points to twenty-two lucky Gears of War fans who take part in the '22 Days of Mayhem' Campaign. Until the launch of Gears of War 2 on the 7th of November, one Gears of War multiplayer gamer will receive 100,000 Microsoft points and a signed poster from Gears 2 design director Cliff Bleszinski.
The major prize - open to fans that play twenty-two games before the 7th - will be able to enter the draw for the major prize. Any guesses? It's an Xbox 360-themed ute along with

"22 Days of Mayhem is a call to arms for Gears of War fans to play multi-player in anticipation for the launch of Gears of War 2," said Andrew Jenkins, Product Marketing Manager, games & LIVE, Microsoft. "We know Australian gamers love to play Gears of War and we want to reward fans who are playing the game in anticipation of the upcoming sequel."
Gears of War 2 tells the story of humanity's last stand against the nightmarish, underground Locust Horde, and is the follow-up to one of the most popular Xbox 360 games in history. The game has been rated MA15+ by the OFLC, and is an Xbox 360 exclusive. You'll be able to pick up the Standard Edition for a RRP of $99.95, or the Limited Edition for $119.95 from the 7th of November.
