Gonna kick some serious ass - this will be my pick of the year me thinks.

On a side note, on what basis is it the "the best-selling first-person shooter of all time"?  I would have thought HL, UT etc would have sold more.

maybe a a certain time frame from release, which wouldn't be too hard to believe as it was released on 3 platforms simultaneously and is was massively successful on each.  i do know it was the best selling game of 2007 but i couldnt find any charts or info naming it the best of all time.

I can't remember how many copies sold but the number is absolutely ridiculous. It's huge.

And yes, this will awesome. You can make out a few things in those vids, a sub, inside a plane, lots of helicopters, a teddy bear, whats thought to be the big jesus statue in rio (I think), an oil rig, a castle, some new perk icons.

Before that the guys says 'Standing by' and then 'Remember, no russian' (as in don't speak any). I wonder if you'll play as terrorists in this one (edgy) or perhaps the intro to the game will follow them, as in the car-execution scene from 4.

Notice also that CoD has been dropped from the name entirely. The website, trailer, press release don't mention Call of Duty at all. The Modern Warfare brand is strong enough to stand on its own now. I guess it will also lessen the comparisons between treyarch's and IW's work, and make the brand seem less prostituted, say like Guitar Hero.

I was like 'What? Where is it? I don't have a new sig!' Then I looked at your picture and it was the same, and then I looked underneath.
