Well, we've held a caucus, and the decisions have been made. It's time to announce the winners of our Prototype competition! Remember, entrants had to pitch an idea they had that they felt deserved a prototype in real life.

First, for the Xbox 360 copy of the game (which drew the most entries by a long shot), the winner is Sarah Rogers: "There should be a flower-giving on demand, compliment-gushing, hand-holding, ice-cream-buying robot that looks and acts just like their current boyfriend, so that girlfriends can experience all the joy of their boyfriend spending time with them, while said boyfriends play Xbox games such as Prototype. It could be PROTOBOYFRIEND.

Standard phrases include: 'You don't look fat in those jeans', 'I love you for your mind', 'Why don't we just cuddle?', 'I bought you these flowers' and 'Honestly, sometimes I just feel like crying and getting in touch with myself emotionally.' Batteries sold separately."

The PS3 version was won by Lynne Sajatovic: "I think that an invention that deserves a prototype should be some kind of device similar to a seat belt/safety belt for dogs whenever they want to go travelling in a car with us. After all, people have to wear one in case of an accident, so why not protect our pet companions as well?

At least it should prevent the dog from sitting in the console between the two front seats getting in the way of changing gears and jumping around like crazy like our dog tends to do whenever he's in the car with us."

Finally, Chris Moody picked up the copy for PC: "A Portable Book Page Turner. Nothing more annoying than having to turn the pages in your own book/textbook especially if they are big. I want a prototype built that will basically be an adjustable stand with three moving arms. One on the right with a rubber stopper to push the top page slightly to the right so that it sticks up and one on the top to flick the page to the left. Finally a third to trap the page once turned also with a rubber stopper. They will also need adjustable length for different size pages."

Our thanks again to Activision for hooking us up with these giveaways. Prototype is in stores now, so if you missed out, you'll have to head out and pick it up yourself.

Nah neither, in fact I'd put a pre-order down for one if I could! Can I trade in MK vs DC Universe for it? =D

You'd honestly rather listen to the nagging yourself? Face it girls - this robot could be perfect in every way.....and you'd complain it was too perfect.
