Aion Release Date Announced - PC

Korea got it in November '08, China followed in April this year, but what about the West?

A few days ago we found out the US/Europe release dates, being 22nd and 25th of September respectively, but a release date was not announced for Australia... until now.

NCSoft were glad to let us know that Aion will be hitting our shores on the 23rd of September, just a day and a half after the Americans get it.

This doesn't necessarily mean that you'll be starting a day late, with stores such as EB and GAME offering a pre-order bonus of being able to pre-create your character, plus gaining a 48 hour head start over the regular masses.

We've asked NCSoft whether we'll be getting local servers, so check back here soon for the official word.

I would be very psyched if I wasn't currently burnt out on MMORPG - eh, maybe by the release date I'll be interested again.
