Nintendo has finally confirmed what titles will be launching for the Wii in the US and in Europe. As well as this, they've also confirmed the range of Virtual Console titles that'll be avaliable in the respective regions, as well as prices for the titles.

Starting with the US, Nintendo has stated that 32 games will be avaliable by the end of December, with an additional 30 titles due for the Virtual Console. The Virtual Console titles are:

NES
  • Baseball
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Ice Hockey
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Pinball
  • Soccer
  • Solomon's Key
  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Tennis
  • Urban Champion
  • Wario Woods
Super NES
  • F-Zero
  • SimCity
Nintendo 64
  • Super Mario 64
Sega Megadrive
  • Altered Beast
  • Columns
  • Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
  • Ecco the Dolphin
  • Golden Axe
  • Gunstar Heroes
  • Sonic The Hedgehog
  • Space Harrier II
  • ToeJam and Earl
TurboGrafx-16
  • Bomberman '93
  • Bonk's Adventure
  • Dungeon Explorer
  • Super Star Soldier
  • Victory Run
Definately a great selection there. Games will be purchased with Wii points: NES titles will cost 500 points, SNES games 800 and N64 games 1000. Turbografx titles will cost 600 points, and Mega Drive games will set you back 800 points.

Now, over to Europe: Nintendo confirmed that they'll be receiving 27 Wii titles, and 30 Virtual Console titles. For the most part, the US and Europe list are pretty similar, but there's some interesting additions to the Virtual Console list (notably, Donkey Kong Country for the SNES - whether or not this title will make it to the US remains to be seen).

More news as we have it.
