In a rather lengthy interview with GameDaily.com, Nintendo of America's Vice President of Marketting, Perrin Kaplan, has revealed that the GameCube is no longer being supported by new software or new hardware.
She revealed in the interview that Nintendo are not "producing any more GameCubes" but that they still had stock to sell.
As well as this, Kaplan hinted at Nintendo's future plans with the Wii, stating that Nintendo will roll out new features for the Wii at a "pace that makes sense".
Other questions in the interview touch briefly upon the GameBoy, which Kaplan said was not being abandoned, just placed aside as Nintendo concentrated their efforts on the DS.
