Picross DS has its fans here at the Sliced Gaming offices. Well, one fan really. A fan that really loved it and is talking about himself in the third person. Well, there's a follow-up, and it's taking the action to a third dimension. Instead of constructing pictures on a 2D grid, you now chisel out a blocky sculpture from cubes. Awesome.
Picross 3D doesn't just have more than 350 puzzles - it let you make your own too. You can share them with your friends locally, or upload them to Nintendo's servers to enter into a monthly contest. Each week, a winner's puzzles will be available for free download to the entire community.
We've got some cute blocky artwork and screenshots for you. Check it out. On my anticipation scale, this game probably sits above New Super Mario Bros. Wii but below Super Mario Galaxy 2. Seriously.
