Some cool news hit the web overnight - Ubisoft is including several skins for the main characters in the upcoming Prince of Persia game. The first we know of is Altair, of Assassin's Creed, but personally I'm looking forward to a Raving Rabbid costume. Check out some pics below.

That game was awful. Hopefully the new POP lives up to Sands of Time.

I loved AC. Didn't manage to play this at eGames since it was packed constantly but it looks pretty sweet, the Elika system works well and the games look pretty nice. Don't like the voice acting at all though.

Pretty graphics, and running round building tops was fun - but the gameplay was fundamentally flawed - hope the new PoP is closer to Sand of Time then AC.

Yeah it certainly is. Expect more wall running than before, and lots of climbing columns. From what I saw combat looked quite cool too. Half action Half context, only ever one enemy at a time it seems but they're big bad guys.

And when they talk about open worlds it's more giving you say two or three choices to get through a room or area. And you can usually pick which area to cleanse first... so that's nice.

I'm just glad AC is a trilogy. The first was over-hyped and evidently they left out a lot of stuff that should have been in it. The series can still redeem itself among the uninterested cynical gamer, hopefully.

I always thought that when it was released. All the repetitiveness was more likely because they spent so much time building the engine (which plenty of games use... correct me if I'm wrong, but I think even Shaun White might run on it?) and whatnot so they didn't have so much time for the meaty bit.

Nah the Scimitar engine has only been used for AC and Shaun White as you said, and also for the new PoP.

If they can combine the graphics of AC into the gameplay of PoP - that's a game I'd like to play.
