PS3
9th June 2007, 1:43pm

While many have been dismissing Sony as of late, they will be sitting quite comfortably with the news they have sold some 1 million Playstation 3 consoles in PAL territories. The good news is that they managed to do it in just 9 1/2 weeks, much faster than both the PS2 and PS1.
Two of their most popular titles have been Resistance: Fall of Man with 600,000 copies sold, followed by Motorstorm with some 500,000 sold. SCEA president David Reeves said they will be pushing hard towards the end of the year with the release of many A grade titles.
