PlayStation 3 Pre-Orders On Top

Play.com, an online retail firm has revealed that the PlayStation 3 is "the most pre-ordered console yet", beating both the Xbox 360 and the Wii six and fifteen times more, respectively.

Play.com are offering a package for the PS3, which possibly explains the surge in pre-orders: in the GBP 524.99 (about $1,300) package, you can expect to find the 60GiB version of the PS3 (remember, that's all the PAL regions are getting for the time being) and the titles "Genji", "MotorStorm" and "Resistance: Fall of Man".
