Project Treasure Island Z Unveiled
Wii

Capcom have revealed details of their first original Wii title. Project Treasure Island Z (a working title, thank goodness), is a swashbuckling adventure puzzle based affair that (surprise surprise) employs the Wiimote to solve problems.
The game tells the tale of Zack, a young pirate in-training. Zack stumbles upon a skull while on a mysterious island, which turns out to be the skull of legendary pirate Barbasos, who is said to have one "stolen the world's treasure and hidden it on a mysterious island". In exchange for help in breaking Barbaros' curse, he promises Zack the key to the island.
Gameplay mechanic details are sketchy at the moment, with the press releases hitting at the ability to interact with the world by moving, opening and transforming objects. You can expect to see a bunch of themed levels as well, with a jungle, some sort of ice temple, volcanic caves and other, as yet unrevealed areas.
Capcom's vice-president of marketting, Charles Bellfield, had the usual PR guff to say: "Innovation has been the cornerstone of Capcom’s successful history. By introducing a whole new level of interactivity, this title reinforces our commitment to pushing the limits on how people view and play games."
Capcom have given a tentative Spring (well, Autumn for them) release for this new game. In the meantime, enjoy the first two screenshots of the game.
