A mysterious website, www.conspiracywmd.com, has revealed the existence of WMDs in locations as diverse as the Aztec jungle and the Arctic and names the secret government agency responsible for their development.

The agency, known only as Hydra, is named by the website as the key player in an international conspiracy to threaten the freedom of the Western world. Hydra, the website claims, was set up in the early nineties by the then head of the CIA to infiltrate terrorist groups. Hydra gained vital information about enemy organisations, including their strengths and personnel. Due to the nature of its missions, Hydra became increasingly remote and the CIA eventually lost control over them.
