One of the most mysterious things on the Earth today is the mind. We explore the other planets in our solar system yet we can not still grasp fully the Mind. Midway gives an alternative view of what the mind is capable of. Welcome to Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy where mind powers are a real handy thing.
To be released from September 17th on the PS2 and Xbox, players will play the role of Nick Scryer a PSI(Mind) Op. Using both his mind and traditional weaponry you must combat The Movement a terrorist organisation bent on overthrowing world order.
Up against brainwashed super soldiers, Scryer will need to outwit and use his mind by taking advantage of his Psionic powers including Telekinesis, Pyrokinesis and even Mind Control to combat his enemies to stop The Movement in their tracks.
Featuring non-linear with an open ended game design, Psi-Ops will challenge players in using their own minds to decide what powers and tactics to use to complete the task at hand. Facing against sophisticated AI along the way you will need to force them to utilise their Psionic abilities to your advantage.
Players will endure eight detailed levels that will see you facing off with six different bosses, each with their own special Psi power. Scryer will need to uncover his past to unveil his connection to the Movements leader and to fully realise his psionic potential.
This is one game that should keep your grey matter ticking over. To discuss Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy travel into our forum.
