PSP To Be Redesigned
PSP
14th March 2007, 9:12pm
Sony have finally confirmed that the PSP will under-go a redesign to make it "smaller (and) lighter". This comes from Sony UK's managing director, Ray Maguire in a press conference which occured yesterday.
According to Maguire, the current size of the PSP's screen will remain unaltered, so you'll still be able to enjoy the nice, widescreen display in the new version.
Rumours of a redesign have persisted for quite a while now: this is the first official indication that we've had from Sony to suggest that it's actually in the cards. However, a Sony spokesperson spoke to GamesIndustry.biz about the news, simply saying that there "are no immediate changes planned other than new firmware updates".
Perplexing, to say the least.
