Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles Blowout
Wii

The new Resident Evil Wii game we'd heard rumours about has been announced by Capcom, along with a few Wii-makes. First, the new game is titled Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles and is a sequel to last year's on-rails shooter, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Set around the events of Resident Evil 2, the game features Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in a deep co-op experience.
It was also revealed that the Gamecube's well received Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero will be getting Wii updates, complete with a new Wii remote control scheme and a budget price.
We have a stack of Darkside media, including the logo, ten screenshots, and the announcement trailer, which is well worth a look. Check it all out below.

Reader Comments:
Are the Wii remakes for RE1 and RE0 the same as the Wii version of RE0 available in Japan that is nothing more than adding point and click controls to Resident Evil 0?
I'm gonna say No, just to be a boat rocker.
