RIDE Fears Turned To Cheers With Hawk Stepping Up
Xbox 360, PS3

Tony Hawk has denied allegations that his latest game, Tony Hawk: RIDE, will be obsolete once Project Natal hits the shelves.
Microsoft demonstrated Natal at this year's E3 2009 Microsoft Press Conference, and their demonstration showed a boy skating using the new toy. The video didn't go in to much depth, but more information has surfaced as to the functionality of the RIDE board compared to the Natal sensor bar.
"We actually tried to get RIDE running with a camera, but it wasn't accurate enough" announced Tony Hawk, "plus you can't really do ollies, grabs and flips when you're just standing on nothing."
It seems Activision and Tony Hawk had plenty of knowledge already about the existance of Project Natal, and had more than enough time to ditch the board peripheral if they wanted to.
That's good news for Tony Hawk fans and skateboarders alike. Now if we can just get some pricing information!
Tony Hawk: RIDE is due out in the christmas season of 2009 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.
