Scribblenauts Trailer And Screens
DS

You probably haven't heard of Scribblenauts. That's okay. It hasn't really been given much of a push from the distributors and publicists yet. But here's why you should care about it. 5TH Cell's ambitious game - which Warner Bros. recently picked up to distribute here in the Spring - is a truly innovative platformer for the DS.
The object is simple: collect 'starites' scattered throughout the two hundred side-scrolling levels. Here's the twist. To interact with the environment, you call objects into existence by writing words on the touchscreen. So if there's a starite stuck in a tree, you could write 'ladder', and conjure a ladder to climb the tree. Or you could write axe, and chop the tree down. Or bulldoze it. Or set it on fire. Or knock it off with a meteor. You're only limited by your imagination. Two objects can even interact with each other, so the potential is limitless.
The developers previously worked on Drawn To Life - which was a similarly creative effort. We've got some screens and a trailer for you to feast your eyes on. Keep this one in the back of your mind, folks. It's got huge potential.
