Dying to know when Wii will be released and what it will cost? Be prepared to wait a while. Satoru Iwata, the president of Nintendo, recently spoke to Associated Press. he said a final date and price probably wouldn't be announced until September, though we do know the system will retail for less that US$250.

And the name? 'I have never thought the name was a mistake. Some people seem to have a problem with it now, but I think they'll grow to like it.' Iwata also recalled how many weren't happy with the name 'Game Boy' prior to the first system's release. And if Microsoft suddenly launches a portable? Iwata reassured that whatever they do, it won't affect Nintendo's grand plan.
