It came as a bit of a shock to hear that Nintendo had greenlit a sequel to Treasure's Japan-only Nintendo 64 cult classic rail shooter Sin & Punishment for the Wii. While the original is available for download on the Virtual Console, the new game offers precision targeting thanks to the Wii remote, and vastly updated graphics. But all that doesn't really matter - it's about racking up the multipliers and repeatedly replaying a stage to beat your high score.

See the new style for yourself by downloading the trailer below, or browsing through the artwork and screenshots.

Fuck yes. People want a decent sequel to Lylat Wars, but S&P was better than Lylat Wars by miles. This looks awesome.

Never played the original, but this seems to be my kinda game, might have to keep an eye on it.
