Skyward Sword Must Be Great, Or They'll End The Series
Wii

We currently know of four Zelda games in development. That's an embarrassment of riches, even considering it's the twenty-fifth anniversary this year. There's the Ocarina of Time 3D remake, the free Four Swords downloadable coming to the eShop, the HD Wii U game, and of course, the Wii's last big title, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. I also wouldn't be surprised to learn of a Majora's Mask remake once Ocarina of Time ships, nor a Phantom Hourglass/Spirit Tracks handheld sequel.
Here we have Skyward Sword, looking beautiful in its own oil painting way despite its newer glossy sibling. Check out the great concept art showing the huge flying Chocobo-like birds that Link and his female friend use to get around, and see them in action in the brand new trailer below.
According to a Q&A session held today, Miyamoto told the development team that if this wasn't the best game in the franchise, they'd retire the Zelda series. Don't forget - this is the game supposed to rework the classic overworld-dungeon-overworld formula. Well, you can consider us officially excited, because we think this looks like it might just pull it off.
