Sony PS3 Firmware v1.92 Now Available
PS3
9th September 2007, 11:29pm

A minor firmware update for the PS3 is now available.
Version 1.92 changes the playability status with the PS3 for some Playstation 3 format titles.
This update only affects titles in all areas except in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Oceania.
So basically if you live in Australia this firmware update does nothing. It could be that by releasing these sort of updates, Sony is laying down the framework for the future release of firmware version 2.0 and also for the upcoming beta release of Playstation HOME.
Version 1.92 firmware is now available for PS3 owners. Simply turn on your Playstation 3, and press the System Update icon in the settings menu.
