Soulcalibur IV to Have Tag-Team Feature
Xbox 360, PS3

Information on Soulcalibur IV has been steadily leaking out for a while now. The latest bit of news on the title states that it'll feature a bit of tag-team action. Nothing overly fancy though (as in, you won't replace one character with another during a match): nope, the tagged character will be used to perform combos.
More information on the game was revealed by Famitsu. If you want it, you can check it out here.

They could make a game as simple and balanced yet deep as the original Soul Calibur, instead of just making new characters join the fight and bloating the roster and adding weird new shit.
But no one cares about a good balanced fighting game. it's got to have the flashy!
Tag-team... with just combos? Sounds pretty ghey. I'm sure they'll still keep the depth. Soul Caliber games (and Soul Blade) have always been great for actually having some story and background to it; unlike it's rival DoA in which story mode consists of 5 lines of dialogue and makes absolutely no sense (and doesn't have any battle variety).
I'm looking forward to kicking Dave's ass in this game.
