This title is looking phenominal, I loved Jedi Acedemy and it looks like Unleashed will be on the same wave length, but a hell of alot better.
I'll be flickin through the PSN for the demo as soon as it's released.....unless I have to pay for it, then I can't be bothered.
Yeah, for a Star Wars game, I have to say I'm interested, I like the concept.

Not a Star Wars fan Admeister?
I don't mind the films, I've seen all of them and enjoyed them to an extent. The games however have been a little on the low quality side from what I've seen, and I've mostly avoided them, barring a couple of exceptions, but I've never actually gone out and bought one. Force Unleashed is the first Star Wars game that I can honsetly say I'd be interested in purchasing, so that's something. I'll definitely check out the demo.
It seems like the date you listed is for the U.S, unless it won't be put up until tonight.. It's not on either of the PSN stores.
its up on the xbox marketplace weighing at just over 900mb
I could afford that on the PSN this month. I've looked for it a couple of times and couldn't find it though.
It's there on the U.S store.
Downloaded it on the 31st, the 1.5gb file just came in under my monthly limit
The demo is actually quite nice, gives you a run through of about 15mins of gameplay onboard a space cruiser under attack by rebels.
From what I saw its a very well set out game, with alot of hallmarks of the original Jedi Acedmy (same movement feel and similar graphics). The key bindings are done nicely too, Force Grip being bound to R2, Force Push to "O", Force Lightning to Triangle etc. Force Grip seems to be the favored force power of the game, allowing the player to grip objects and launch them at enemies.
Lots of new stuff though, Saber Combos for one, such as Slash > Slash Force Push infuses the saber with froce energy so the final swing unleashes a massive cone of power infront of the wielder launching anything in it's path.
The world is much more interactive also, as I said with force grip, you can use it on almost anything, you simply lock onto a pipe, droid, crate etc use force grip, then use the thumb sticks to move in a direction and release grip to launch it at enemies, other crates to cause an explosion, even the windows on the space cruiser were destructable, sucking enemies out into space when broken.
All in all, I'm a little dissappointed with how similar the title is to previous games of the franchise, but theres alot of new stuff, so it's not too bad all in all.
