4th May 2004, 10:28pm
Melbourne based studio Tantalus Interactive has announced the establishment of Tatalus Asia a studio based in Kuala Lumpar Malaysia. The studio's main focus will be the development of titles for wireless devices such as N-Gage as well as content for Interactive TV. The studio is a joint venture between Tantalus and eTouch Globiz a Malaysian media company. The studio has been working on a title since October last year with 10 employees expecting to triple in size. The studio already has in place contracts with three telecommunications companies, a major television IP and a game to be released in late May. It is certainly going to be a busy studio with them aiming for five to six games to be out before the end of the year with a whole heap more in the pipeline.
