Well, the DS has launched in Australia today at $199.95. In celebration of the launch, we've set up a bit of reader participation. So when you snatch your eagerly awaited system from the hands of the unfortunate clerk and play it for hours on end, take the time to email us. You may just see your comment on the site later this week! Any thoughts, whether they are positive or negative, will be happily received. Don't forget to include your name and state!Well, here are some of the Gamebiz community's opinions on the DS. You can still submit yours up above.
All up, in my opinion is the DS is an excellent system and Nintendo has made another excellent gaming device! - Dazza_189 (forum member), VIC
The DS is handheld perfection. Of the few Australian launch games, only a couple are worth buying, but those that are, are top notch. Multiplayer=Awesome. - Jack, SA
Absolutely GREAT so far. Brilliant. And not one dead pixel to be found. *wipes tear from eye* Thankyou Nintendo. - Auscube (forum member), possibly from nowhere
Got Mario 64 for me and my mate, and yeah. It's awesome. - Dave (Gamebiz writer)
I'm so far happy with my DS, not a problem in sight, though my hands are over sized and it makes for awkward gaming at times. For example, when using the pen your fingers take up the whole screen. - Paul (aka Icersau from forums)
The sweetest Nintendo portable to date. Lots of innovation in the future, and great games on the way. - Nick, SA (Gamebiz writer, aka me)
