Watchmen: The End Is Nigh, a long-form downloadable game published by Warner Bros., is now available on Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, and PC. The game is a prequel to the film, currently in theatres, and takes place over a decade before the main story of the film.

Developed by Dealine Games, The End Is Nigh explores Rorschach and Nite Owl's partnership before the Keene Act (to ban heroes) was introduced. A mature action brawler, the game features the voices of both Jackie Earle Haley and Patrick Wilson, who played the aforementioned characters in Zach Snyder's well-received adaptation. Each character has their own abilities and brutal finishing moves, so when you're playing split-screen co-op with a friend you won't find yourself using the same moves.

Watchmen: The End is Nigh is a unique downloadable game, providing players with a solid, gripping action experience inspired by what is portrayed in the Watchmen film,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production and Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “The game’s stylized graphics were created to match the look and feel of the film, and offer an interactive environment in which gamers can experience more back-story about the Watchmen universe.”
