THQ Announces International Management Appointments

THQ Announces International Management Appointments; Ian Curran Named Vice President, European Publishing; Martin Good Named Vice President, Asia-Pacific Publishing CALABASAS HILLS, Calif., Jan 5, 2004 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- THQ Inc. (Nasdaq:THQI) today announced two new strategic appointments within its expanding international operations.

Ian Curran, previously Managing Director of THQ UK, has been promoted to the newly created position of Vice President, European Publishing. In this role, Curran will oversee the company's expanding European operations including offices in England, Germany and France. Since joining THQ in late 2000, Curran has played a key role in growing the company's international revenues to more than 25% of its global sales.

In his new role as Vice President, Asia-Pacific Publishing, Martin Good will continue to develop THQ's opportunities across this region. Having joined THQ as General Manager of THQ's Australia and New Zealand operations in early 2000, Good's responsibilities quickly expanded to include the Asian markets where he began to cultivate distribution opportunities, opening a Korean office in early 2003.
