Tomb Raider: Underworld demo now on Xbox LIVE

Atari have just released a demo for the game onto the Xbox Marketplace. The demo has players travelling to the western coast of Thailand - the second destination in Tomb Raider: Underworld - to experience a taste of the adventure that is to come.  Gamers can master steep coastal cliffs, navigate perilous and crumbling ruins, evade vicious wild animals and use state-of-the-art gear such as the grapple or the new Field Assistance System to create and uncover paths that will take players deep into the challenging wilds of Thailand.

Tomb Raider: Underworld™ will released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and PC Games for Windows platforms.

Been playing a little of this. Looks great, pretty smooth mechanics, combat seems quite improved. Tigers are hard to kill though.

Been a while since the last one, that was a pretty good one to revive the series, which was looking decidedly sick.

Yeah, I think the last one I played was anniversary, the remake of the original, which I thought was great, brought back tons of memories too. Legend came out after that though, I think?

I definitely like the feel of TR better than say Uncharted and other copy cats.
