12th December 2003, 7:52pm
Konami's Metal Gear Solid The Twin Snakes for GameCube is back on the boards for a March 11 release in Japan, retail sources report today. The game had originally been slated for release within the year, but delays in development forced Konami to move the game into 2004.The remake of the original Metal Gear Solid, developed by Silicon Knights in conjunction with Konami JPN and film director Ryuhei Kitamura, is currently scheduled for a less specific spring 2004 release in the United States. Recent outings in the Metal Gear series have hit the United States in close proximity to their Japanese releases, however, so American gamers likely won't have long to wait.
