Atari announce briefly today that their latest addition, Tycoon City: New York will be released during the last quarter of 2005. It will definitely be a hot christmas title by the looks of this first screenshot - take a look!'Tycoon City: New York gives players an opportunity to become a big-shot in this richly detailed facsimile of the city that never sleeps,' said Martin Spiess, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Atari Europe. 'Tycoon City: New York builds upon the human desire to create empires that often begins with a few simple building blocks as a kid. Anyone can play the game and have a great time creating their own New York City without the need for a degree in town planning, but players will need the eye of the tiger to really make it big.'
In Tycoon City: NY, you'll take control of over a hundred businesses as you become the ultimate entrepreneur of Manhattan. You'll manage anything from nightclubs and restaurants to broadway theatres, and even put on a live concert at Central Park.
Tycoon City: NY currently under development by Deep Red Games will be a great opportunity to learn your way around the streets of New York, as neighbourhoods have been mapped out true to life, and key landmarks will be viewable as well.
