Ubisoft Loses Patrice Desilets

It is a sad day to be announcing that Patrice Desilets, creative director of both Assassin's Creed titles and the latest Prince of Persia, is leaving Ubisoft.
Patrice is leaving the company to have a "creative break from the industry." Ubisoft explained to Game Informer in an interview yesterday that his work on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was basically complete anyway, and his departure will have no effect on the production of the upcoming sequel to Assassin's Creed 2.
It will definitely have an affect on any future Assassin's Creed or Prince of Persia games, and we believe there is more to this story than what meets the eye. Check back here throughout E3 2010 as we'll be searching for any information regarding Ubisoft Montreal's development team changes.
